Gainesville MYcroSchool has a growing problem with student transportation. Even with our bus pass policy, students are late to school or miss altogether due to other varying reasons. Another major concern is the need for a job and transportation to said job. John Fuller put a plea out on Facebook asking anyone who had a used bicycle lying around to sell it to him for his students. This plea was not seeking direct donations of new or used bicycles.

Quinn Jorge decided that simply donating a used bicycle was not enough. Quinn, and her husband Jonathan, graciously bought two brand new bicycles, with protection plans, from Walmart for Mr. Fuller to pick up for his students.

The great news does not end there. One of Jonathan’s employers decided to donate as well. Shelby Pigot, and her husband Barry, donated four brand new bicycles from Walmart as well! These bicycles will help six well-deserving students get to and from school and work.

The program will continue and anyone willing to sell a used bicycle to Mr. Fuller should Contact MYcroSchool Gainesville at (352)379-2902.
