MYcroSchool Pinellas Charter High School in St. Petersburg hosts a free movie night on Feb 18.Black History Month Movie Night with guest speakers and snacks. We will be featuring the awarding-winning documentary film “Through the Tunnel” that tells the story the Lincoln High Trojans, the football team of the former Manatee County school for African American students prior to desegregation.

The film focuses on integral members of Lincoln folklore, former head coach Eddie Shannon and former NFL star Henry Lawrence, a Lincoln alum, three-time Pro Bowler, who would go on to start in three Super Bowls for the Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders.

Special Q&A After the Movie: Meet Director Charles E. Williams and NFL Star Henry Lawrence! The film’s director, The Honorable Judge Charles E. Williams, and the film’s star, Mr. Lawrence, will be in attendance for questions following the film.  Don’t miss this chance to meet Lincoln Alum Henry Lawrence who played 13 seasons with the Raiders including three Super Bowl wins!
